In an Emergency, Call 911

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 right away.

Examples of emergencies include:

  • Life-threatening situations
  • Serious injury or medical emergency
  • Threats of violence
  • A crime in progress

Helpful Safety Reminders for Families

  • Follow school staff and emergency personnel instructions during drills or emergencies.
  • Keep your contact information current with your child's school.
  • Talk with your child about safety at school, at home, online, and while traveling to and from school.
  • Encourage students to tell a trusted adult when something feels unsafe or concerning.
