Interns will be assigned to one of the following APS departments:

Internship Requirements

Students wishing to apply for the Summer Internship Program must meet the following criteria:

  • Current Avoyelles Parish Student
  • Rising Juniors and Seniors
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or above
  • Maintain excellent attendance and discipline records
  • Maintain a strict code of ethics and confidentiality
  • Provide own transportation
  • Complete a minimum of 147 hours (21 of the 24 days of work)
  • Complete mandatory job training skills coursework.

Deadline to apply is May 2, 2025

Interviews will be held on May 12, 2025.
