JROTC Army Instructor

Application Deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026 by 3:00 p.m.

Avoyelles Parish Schools is accepting applications for a JROTC Army Instructor. This position provides instruction, leadership development, mentorship, and oversight of a high school JROTC program.

Qualifications

  • Military service experience, usually as an enlisted member or officer, and retired with an appropriate rank
  • Approval by the U.S. Army Cadet Command to administer a high school JROTC program
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to teach and manage a diverse group of students
  • Familiarity with JROTC curriculum and military protocols
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
